Clark Farm — Attraction in Danvers

I want to support Clark Farm as a local/small business, but they've lost us as a customer forever.

I ordered compost delivery for Saturday (so I could prepare driveway). It was important it showed up Saturday so the date was confirmed several times. But the next day (Tuesday) I find 2 cubic yards dumped on our sidewalk in the most inconvenient place possible. No knock on the door, no phone call, nothing. We had to drop everything to clear it, had to miss work, it was starting to rain .. the magnitude of this inconvenience is tough to put into words.

Now, I understand things happen and it would have been fine, but when I later talked to Bill he just said "Saturday isn't on the slip" and told me to pound sand. Was a tremendously aggravating experience - will not be going...

I've been friends with the family for a while now, so maybe I'm biased, but they are really nice people and all their products are great. You can't go wrong. Except maybe with that youngest Clark kid, Hobie. But it doesn't change the business at all, so...
