The casino is very clean and fresh appearing, it’s also only a year old. The pub food in today’s standard 2024 post Covid is pretty darn good and the price is hard to argue with. Free fountain drinks is a mega plus for those being DD, although only 1 option had any syrup left other than drinking carbonated water. Free coffee was surprisingly about as good as a McDonald’s brew. The base drinks are very very reasonably priced, the specialty drinks are as bit much but not professional sports game high.
Here’s where the real review starts. floor waitress/bartenders all are incredibly professional and friendly. If you’re a fan of large dump trucks, you’ve come to the right place. Some might even say, it’s the final boss. -every single floor manager/observer, incredibly irritable, unprofessional, and perspectively very annoying. They constantly will walk around awkwardly staring into every customers soul with a perceiving morbid look of disparaging hate. I’ve honestly never seen anything like this in any casino I’ve been to in the continental U.S. -dealers are professional, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to be at the table with. VLR machines, gaming stations are about %80 of the same things you’ll find at any Illinois gaming parlor, local dive bar. The only difference is one station here will just have one of the same 80 different video gaming options you’ve probably all played at any bar in the past 5 years. I struggled to find something I haven’t played before.
Overall, I’m still speechless over the quality of floor servers, but even more breathless of how much the floor managers ruined the whole experience. If you like something new give it a try. If you like to pretend you’re in 4th grade at recess getting allowed to play hopscotch but with a micro management recess monitor this is the place for that roll...
Read moreThis location is absolutely horrible. I've been to multiple casinos in the last 20 years and obviously know that gambling is a risk, but this casino will literally rob you. They have staff that walk up to customers and are trained to lie about the the slot machines. I'm not a big gambler by any means and have been to a casino literally 5 times in my entire adult life. They walked up to me, told me to play a slot that was supposedly about to hit a jackpot of some compacity within a few spins. So I thanked her and played what was recommended by the staff member. This is a slot that was strange to me and one that I would never have played on my own. Within 10 minutes I had lost $700 and finally a jackpot hit for $10. I was so upset and went to the manager and security to explain the situation and after this they threw me and my 90 year old grandfather out for calling out there scam. The manager tried to stir me up verbally explaining that they train the staff to go up to customers and get them to play certain slots so they make money. Basically told me that they are trained to scam people. As we were walking out, he was in my ear saying things to instigate me instead of being professional about the situation, and finally Id had enough and told him if you want to fight me let's go in the lot, and called the police on me for scamming me and my grandfather, and talking trash in my ear on the way out the door. They did nothing and were amazing officers. It pissed him off and we got banned for life. (Which I didn't care after this occurrence) This is a absolutely true story and I would suggest noone go to this location because you will...
Read moreThere are lots of PROS and CONS to this casino. PROS: It's still rather new so very clean. Nice assortment of machines. Self serve pop. Easy to get to off expressway. The cashiers for players cards were very friendly.
CONS: The lighting reflects off of most machines making it hard to see the screen. The machines were tight on our visit unless MAX betting. We saw a few large payouts at $5 & $12 bets.
Forget going to the restaurant Front Row Bar & Grill. There was only 1 very rude server. Every table she went to she sighed and rolled her eyes before she asked if they were ready to order. We waited over an hour for our food (nachos and tacos.. we think they had to kill the chickens and cows). 3 tables that came in after us got their food first when she remembered that we hadn't got ours. She said there was a mistake and someone else got our identical order (Hmmmm). We heard many people ask for things and her reply was "when I can get to it." Multiple people sat down and left because she never even went to their table. Unfortunately the other restaurant didn't open until 4pm.
I can't even recommend this place for an evening or afternoon out. I would travel somewhere else.
My husband asked if there was a manager.. but supposedly there wasn't one there today. (Hmmm).
We traveled 2 hours to try somewhere new. We'd rather travel to Four Winds or Firekeepers in Michigan.
Hope management can fix the personnel issues for the restaurant. I'd recommend eating before...
