I am visiting from out of town and volunteer at a farm back home. I missed my babies back home so I googled farms near me. There were a few that caught my eye and this was one of them. I made the trip out to the farm and am so glad I did. The history of this farm is amazing and so fascinating. Kim and Rita are the most down to earth people you could meet and were so knowledgeable. The animals are so friendly and that is exactly what I needed to be around! I encourage y’all to make a trip out to Dickherber Farm!

Nice farm, now in the middle of suburbia! Lots of chickens, goats, and other farm animals to check out and pet. Fun corn maze (not too difficult to navigate), map is included with an added surprise of having to find hidden letters to solve a puzzle. Hay rides, hay bails to climb, and just a spread out are for kids to run around and play. Some pumpkins laying in the grass to pick from, about $1 a LB,.

I took my two youngest grandchildren there for a Sunday funday. The farm is set up perfectly for families to enjoy a corn maze, petting and feeding the animals and a relaxing hayride. The best surprise was the treat the riders got on the ride. My grandchildren had an absolute blast. There's just enough to have a fun day with being overwhelming or over stimulating for littles.

My daughters softball team had a tournament near here this weekend so we decided to take the girls to this farm to entertain them after their games were cancelled Saturday.

All of our daughters paid to get into the farm and us parents decided we would hangout in the parking lot and wait for them.

The male owner of the farm approached one of us and said that we would have to pay to wait in the parking lot. When we asked why, he stated that he knew we were up to no good and going to party in the parking lot because “another softball team had come there earlier in the day and that’s what happened”.

I’m sorry that happened on your farm, but what another group of people that we don’t even know did on your property had nothing to do with us. You placed us, people you’ve never met, in a category we didn’t belong in and insulted us. When we stated that we didn’t want to pay admission just to wait on our children, the man then shouted at his employees taking admission money to refund our daughters and not let them in. Confused, we asked our daughters if they wanted to stay and we explained to them what happened. The guy kept talking over us and saying “I’m just not going to allow a bunch of people to party in my parking lot”. Our daughters knew that wasn’t the case with their parents and they were upset as well. Obviously the girls decided they didn’t want to stay, thankfully, so we left and took them to play laser tag instead.

Shame on you for profiling total strangers who were trying to support your business and for making our 13 year old daughters...

I'm really sad to leave this review because my family had been going here for years. Yesterday when we went for our yearly visit I was extremely saddened to see the condition of some of the animals. Several of the cats seemed to have an infection of the eyes. There were black spots around their eyes and 1 could barely open its eyes due to a green layer on them. They're was also a rabbit sitting out in a very small enclosure. The rabbit had no water and they were allowing people to feed it an endless supply of the same pellets given to the other animals which is not ok for a rabbits GI tract. Rabbits need majority hay in their diet and there was none to be found. I have rabbits and cats at home and this is not acceptable. For the cost you guys charge to access your facility, these animals should be receiving the best care. The corn made was also destroyed from wind, so you could see right through it. I can't believe you are charging full price for this. If things do not change with your animals then sadly we will not be back because my heart cannot take seeing these precious babies...

I have visited many times to see the animals and to go in the corn maze. And it is always amazing. But having an event here is unbelievable, So much better then a park event.

Fantastic time had by all. The beauty of handmade live edge table for the event. The fenced in patio. The loft, the cabin in the back, the silo with pews in it so you sing or yell as the kids did. The old tractor and farm truck the historic stoves. Something for everyone, adults and children alike enjoyed the beauty of the farm, the calmness as well as petting and feeding the various animals (Donkeys, chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, cows, horses and peacocks). Some animals roamed the event, cats and chickens and goats. This is the place for weddings, birthday parties, graduation parties, family reunions and memorials. I have recieved so many compliments. We are going to have our next event here as...
