This park is the result of Vice Mayor Susan Starkey's work to protect the burrowing owls. In 2010 the Davie Town Council dedicated the open space at SW 26 Street and Flamingo Road for the purpose of preserving and protecting burrowing owls who face a small risk of future extinction. It also has a walkway all throughout the park to run or walk around on. It's a great park, just wish it had some shade especially by...
