The gentle flow of the clear, jade-colored waters of Honey Creek beneath the cabins was incredibly soothing—a true immersion in nature. The surrounding vibe and ambiance were delightful, making the experience even more special. The cabins themselves were cozy with a charming, old-fashioned feel. We stayed in Cabin #1, which was particularly memorable. It felt like a jungle safari retreat, meticulously decorated to enhance the experience.

Though the kitchen was modest, it was functional enough to meet our needs—I wasn’t planning on preparing gourmet meals, so it wasn’t an issue. During our stay, I had the pleasure of meeting Sharon and Danette, two wonderful ladies who do an amazing job maintaining the property. A heartfelt thank you for being such...

We loved everything about this experience! From booking it with Sharon, to staying in the most amazing rustic cabin # 1. The shower will blow your mind it’s so unique! Honey Creek is beautiful and we spent a couple of afternoons just hiking in it, playing on the falls, and taking copious amounts of pictures all the way up to The Turner Falls Blue Lagoon Swim Area (we stayed on our side) although no one was there except two Canadian Geese, which just added to the experience! If you like rustic, but with fully functioning basic kitchen amenities, you need to rent this place! A ton of things to do in this area only...

I have been going to Turner Falls for decades. Used to see the rock cabin on cliff over looking Honey Creek. Then on one of my trips I noticed new cabins also there. Found out how to contact owner. I drove up to the rock and log cabin. He told me it is the original Turner House. After my stay I just keep coming back. Last week I got married at a chapel just up the road. Got to spend part of my honeymoon iced in. At my favorite place....

Loved the cabin it had everything essential in a peaceful location to stay. I was skeptic about the stay but I ended up enjoying it much and loving it. Hope to come back in the future. FYI: Just bring your own comfy blanket. The ones provided are ok. Also bring your own charcoal and firewood. Comfy soft socks. It is 5 min from Turner Falls park and 30min from a the nearest Walmart and the Chickasaw Cultural Center worth going to it.
