Green Hall sums up UC Davis perfectly: overpromise, underdeliver. For a building tied to life sciences, it’s shockingly dull. You’d expect something modern, well-equipped, and built to encourage real academic growth — but what you get is outdated classrooms, cramped labs, and a lifeless atmosphere that does nothing to inspire learning.
It’s functional, sure, but just barely. Everything feels like the minimum effort was made, with no thought about creating a space that pushes students to excel. Just like the rest of UC Davis, it’s all about looking presentable from the outside while cutting corners where it actually counts.
