Sycamore Park — Attraction in Davis

This park is fantastic. I really enjoy bringing my dog and, more recently, my parrot, here a few times a day for exercise, socialization and good old sunshine. The off leash dog area is an open part of the large grass field and it has a wonderful community of regulars. There's a few mini hills and some nice curvy bike paths. It's accessible by car, bike, or walking and includes part of the Davis Bike Loop. You have to be careful about parking before 8am, because there are restrictions between 2am and 8am for the section of Sycamore Lane starting with the park. To say i loved this is understated. The trees, hills of green grass and the walking path that welcomes all manner of K-9.. i moved here in oct of 2020 transplant from North Bay Area. Davis has little gems in its mist that finally i can discover...cant WAIT to see the Arberidium ..spelling is iffy..The Sycamore Park stands on its own nontheless & this beautiful park is 3 blocks away from my Apartment. Nice park with a large kids playground. There are 2 play structures, one for younger kids and one for older ones, a set of 4 swings including 2 for babies, and an old sandbox. The place is well shaded by all the tall trees around it, and you can hear and see lots of birds on weekdays.
