Gateway Park — Attraction in DeBary

Great park with playground & paved walking trail. It also has several covered pavilions with outdoor fitness equipment on the path.

The walking area and pavilions are nestled nicely in shade trees and the playground has fabric sunshades installed above the play equipment.

The playground is well maintained & has all the fun features my nephew enjoys. Including a seated zip line. SuperNephew™️ is a connoisseur of playgrounds and this is the first one we have seen with the zip line. He said, he gives it “a million stars” review.

The public restrooms are clean, however unfortunately there was no soap on the day we visited.

Oh and plenty of parking available for feee.

Gateway is a very nice and well maintained park that has a great playground and even a zip line that kids just love. There are covered picnic tables with barbecue grills along with what looks like walking paths. I went last night when they had a food truck event that included some sales stands. My friend and I went for a picnic at Gateway. The park was well maintained. There was plenty of shade due to the canopy of the trees It felt. The temperature felt 10 degrees cooler from so much shade. All the picnic tables also had shelters covering them. At each table there was a water faucet with certain tables having grills.
