Cottell Park — Attraction in Deerfield Township

Nice park, but maddening parking design for this being in Mason. Check out the yellow area. Notice there is no place to turn around if parking is full (which you wouldn’t know anyway til you get to the end).

Add families with small kids running around aimlessly and you’ve got accidents waiting to happen.

Solution: add a mini turnabout at the end where the blue arrow points to. My family and I sought out this place for the sunflower field across the street. The park is nice, it has very nice baseball and soccer fields. It has nice children's play areas. There is also a Veteran's memorial, me being a vet, I'm always glad to see our troops being supported.

Beautiful park with a track, shelters, tennis court, Baseball and children's play area. The park has two different play areas for children ages 2-5 years and 5-12 years. There is a beautiful lake around which has a walking trail. Location is convenient and has sufficient parking spaces. In summer time you can check for lots of fun and family activities/events.
