James Wolf Jewelers — Local services in Deerfield Township

My husband purchased my engagement / wedding band from Blue Nile in 2021. Less than 3 years later, I had two diamonds fall out, as well as several broken prongs. When the first diamond fell out, I shipped it to Blue Nile to repair. It took them 12 weeks to repair and replace the diamond, and when it was returned, the diamonds were filthy, and no less than 1 month later the second diamond fell out. This time, we turned to our local jeweler, James Wolf in Mason. They could not have been more helpful! Natalie, the daughter of the owner helped determine that it was best to go ahead and create a new setting for the diamonds to ensure they would be secure. I sent Natalie an inspiration picture for my new setting, and she and her team worked with their jewelry designer to create a custom setting based on my inspiration picture. When the design was ready, they created a 3D plastic mold of the ring so I could try it on and review before they went forward with making the custom setting. I picked up my final ring yesterday and it is AMAZING. It completely exceeded my expectations and I am so grateful for the entire team / family at James Wolf. I’m excited to have found them in Mason and will be using them for all of our Jewelry needs...

In 2018 my then-boyfriend (now husband) and I purchased a beautiful wedding band from James Wolf on a whim, which I never ended up wearing (long story). Somewhere along the line, a tiny diamond on the far end on the band had fallen out. It never bothered me because I wasn’t wearing it except for rare occasions.

I recently lost a major diamond on my second wedding band (not from James Wolf), which was my cue to find a reputable jeweler to inspect my rings immediately to avoid any other losses. I remembered James Wolf from our initial purchase and decided to make that my first stop. I walked in on a random Saturday and left in absolute pleasant shock that they were able to inspect and clean my engagement ring (for free), AND took in my first wedding band to have the missing diamond replaced (also for free). The service was done in a week and it is beautiful. I have it back now and honestly don’t want to take it off! I’m relieved to know that I have a local place to take my jewelry in the future. I am relatively new to this area and unfamiliar with the local jewelers. Where I had previously lived, I had a wonderful “ boutique” type of jewelry store where I had the greatest confidence in all the associates and their obvious passion for what they do. I have fortunately found that in this jeweler, as well! I brought multiple rings to be resized and Mr. Wolf took the time to listen to my concerns ( wedding band to be made smaller while keeping the interior engraving intact) and was was also informative about what can be done, why and how. He displays such enthusiasm about his work! What his “ team” did for me - I know, it sounds simple, but it goes beyond that- was fantastic! I now can wear, again, the rings my husband gifted to me to celebrate milestones in our lives and without concern about them slipping off. They are shiny and bright and perfect.
