Big Oak County Park — Attraction in Delaware

This place is so fun!!! It has lots to offer and the theme is Space. There is a space conservatory building here but it's closed at the moment. There's walking trails, pavilions, toddlers playground, big kid playground, public restrooms, swings for both young and older kids, and plenty of parking. The older kid playground is a space ship and has 3 levels!! It has lots of facts about space and playing in this park is great for young minds. Did I mention they have bouncy rocket ships to play on by the swings!! The slides are also super fast and slick on the big playground. This playground truly gives your kids a space adventure!! This park has tons of space. Covered picnic Area which I think is great for when the weather is not completely cooperating with your plans to have a nice day out. Slides and swings for your toddlers and a Seperate set for the bigger kids even a few you can get on as well, if you dare. There's a small rock climbing wall and nice size workout area with about 10 different stations for push ups pull ups sit ups and a few others so you can get a quick workout in while the little ones tire them selves out. All in all a nice park I would suggest you bring a baseball, soccer ball, foot ball frisbee something to entertain when the tikes get tired of the limited things that are at the park for...

Pleasant one-mile marked path, including .2-.3-miles in forest and about .8-mile track around baseball fields, well kept and nicely landscaped with benches for stretching, resting, enjoying the view. Also very nice play area for children, which includes a climb tower made like a rocket you know the and a rock wall for kids that looks like a mini mountain with four sides and a fairly level top. Also includes a meditation walk area, although the walkway pebbles/stones are a bit too slippery if you have any balance issues.
