I have been going to China star for a while and never had a problem. I went there the other night and spent 41 dollars for dinner. I picked my food up and went home and found out I did not receive one item that I paid for and they gave me item I never ordered. No problem until I called back to get order fixed and the lady picked up and was very rude. All I wanted was my item fixed correctly. The lady that must be the owner hangs the phone up. I went to store and the lady was very rude to me in front of other customers and tried to educate me saying this is what I ordered and I know what I ordered. Finally after all this, the lady or owner finally gave me the right item but never refunded for other item I payed for and never got. Needless to say, I will drive 100 miles away to stay away from this place to get Chinese food. If you plan on purchasing from this store, I would stay away. Also when I got home, the owner put the fortune cookie in my bag which I never eat and she crushed it In pieces. Also, it amazes me how I always purchase same things every time I went there and the price is always different. If you go there,...
Read moreMy wife and I are food industry professionals, and I value open communication when dealing with issues. Unfortunately, this restaurant didn't meet expectations so I called to handle it quietly between them and I. I wasn’t even looking for money back; just merely to say never serve that again. The fried rice was overcooked beyond consumption and unappetizing. When I tried to address the problem, their response was nasty and very unprofessional – they hung up on me several times and I wasn’t even upset about the matter I was just telling them what I received. I literally wouldn’t have fed that to a dog. I'm relieved I didn't eat there and have no plans to even return. In the interest of upholding integrity, I'll be reporting this incident, and with my wife being a Serve Safe instructor let’s just say they were nasty to the wrong ones. One shouldn't compromise people's money...
Read moreI have only tried this restaurant one time and here's my first impression....
It was late, I hadn't eaten yet, I was really hungry, and wanted something "Now!" To the rescue was China Star which I was very happy to drive upon and even happier when I saw it was still open (until 10:30/11p.m. every night.)
Upon entering I was immediately greeted by a friendly lady who promptly took my order of Vegetable Lo Mein. I was very pleased that it was in my hand & ready to eat within 10 minutes. Basically anything you order is ready in 10 minutes (I'll place my bets on that one now, all in!)
It was fast, hot, noodles cooked just right, and most importantly (to me) plenty of vegetables. I was pleased all around!
It makes good sense that I would return again and according to my fortune, that's...
