I would give this Apartment complex zero stars but in order to access the review page , I needed to give it an undeserving 1 star. This review is not about the apartments or the lifestyle at Hunters Glen because I was denied the opportunity to experience both. This is a true review of the management that I had the unpleasant experience of dealing with in an attempt to lease an apartment at Hunters Glen . My situation that I presented to the leasing agent was that I have a physical disability and I work part time with special needs children for extra income. I explained that although I alone would not be able to finally meet the criteria to lease an apartment, I had my mother who was going to co - sign on the lease and it would make it possible for me to live there. As s matter of fact, my mother asked if it would be okay if she provided the rent for me and I would be the inhabitant that lived there. I was instructed to fill out an application that one must do in order to allow for a guarantor on the lease. I gave all materials needed , a check for $100.00 application fee and in turn was given an apartment number and move in date of June 25th 2019. In the interim, I went out and excitedly prepared everything I had to do and get to move into my new apartment. Every time I had some questions about the apartment , my leasing agent was never available and directed my inquires towards someone else whose answers were elusive and extremely rude. The last interaction that I had with someone from Hunters Glen was from a person who told me that I did not qualify for a guarantor. ( based on finances alone). I find this deplorable. Hunters Glen is a very integrated community and Iâm sure that provisions are made all the time for people who have extenuating circumstances. I believe that I was denied because If my finances that are because of my disability. I had more than enough money between my mother and myself to make the rent and any other expenses required. Hunters Glen is visibly a very integrated community which I think is great but I have to wonder who are they Leaving Out? I have never encounter worse customer service in my life which leads me to wonder ......If Hunters Glen is the best place to live in Burlington County than what is the...
Read moreWould not recommend to anyone again. I lived in hunters glen for five years with my mother. Last November I moved into an apartment of my own. Ever since I moved into this apartment at least once a month soemthing goes wrong. Big or small. Living room carpets had purple fluorescent stains all over them which I saw a week after I received my keys. After a week of arguing with my leasing agent they replaced a carpet I didnât damage and charged me $250 because I didnât notice it during the walk through the day I moved in. Air conditioning leaking on carpeted flooring in the enclosed balcony. Sliding mirror doors constantly falling off the track. Shelving in bathroom cabinets constantly falling. Recently my walls and ceiling have started cracking and falling into pieces. Not once but twice my ceiling crumbled and fell. Now i am having issues with the walls cracking. I ask mai ten every to fix the one noticeable crack and check for the others to assure itâs safe. There was a note left saying no other cracks found. Which was incorrect. I documented and emailed my leasing agent pictures and videos of not one but about five different areas that were falling apart just to be told that itâs normal wear and tear in older buildings. I pay 1,050 dollars for rent for my apartment to literally crumble around. Feeling unsafe in your own âhomeâ is not a good feeling. I was told I would not be compinsated and someone will repair what they can. Meanwhile Iâm afraid this will be an...
Read moreThis place has roaches. Unfortunately that was my most important criteria when searching for an apartment;somewhere clean with no roaches and a Hunters Glen failed. I moved in the last week of August of this year and while moving our belongings in, my husband and I saw 2 dead roaches and one live one in the living room. Maintenance said they had just chemically treated the place and I guess these ones tried to escape during the process. This is not something I want to experience while expecting a baby soon thatâs going to be learning how to crawl here đđđđ. Then a couple weeks later I see 2 more in kitchen. So apparently theyâll have to chemically treat the place (I think once a month) to keep the roaches to a minimum. Also not something to look forward to while expecting a child. This place was voted number 1? Hard to believe. People must have very low living standards. Definitely letting my friends and family know so they donât move here. They have a cute clean looking model apartment but itâs all a lie. This place was filthy wen we first got it. Dozens of dead flies in each of the window sills in the apartment. I didnât make a fuss about it to management and just cleaned them up myself. But roaches is where I draw the line. Not living here longer than the lease...
