Had a wedding here and I wanted to give my review. This will be detailed to give others an idea of what the place is like if they choose this venue. Skip to the very bottom if you want the shorter version.
PROS
Staff: The owners of the venue were extremely friendly and welcoming. Myka catered to our wants and desires and made the venue look elegant and beautiful. The servers were also very friendly as well. I couldn't have asked for a better team.
Environment: The venue is surprisingly beautiful considering it's located in the basement of the Hunter's Glen Community center. When Myka works her magic and decorates the place it is nothing but elegant. She always lets visitors in to have a peek at the place when there isn't an event going on, so you can see for yourself and be the judge if you're interested. The only nitpick is that the mens' bathrooms need some work (they should be nice like the ladies room!) as well as the bathrooms down the steps, but I'm sure Myka already knows that. The brown stalls look really old.
Price: Myka's prices are some of the best in the area, I believe the Ultimate experience gets you the entire venue for your occasion and it's only about 80/plate (minus tax and gratuity of course). Most venues I looked at were 100/plate and upwards. She also has cheaper options depending on what you want for your wedding. Also, children younger than 4 are free!
Dessert: The desserts were phenomenal! I couldn't stop eating my wedding cake the whole rest of the week I probably gained so much weight haha
CONS:
Food: The main reason I knocked off two stars was because of the food. The food is the center of any venue. You can make the venue as beautiful as you want if your guests are starving themselves because they don't like the food no one will have a good time. While the appetizers were very good (pigs in the blanket were great, as were the mozzarella sticks and the other morsels - all ranged from good to excellent), the main courses were very bland. The salmon was tasteless, the vegetables were watery and bland, and I don't know what island the Island Chicken came but it wasn't anything Hawaiian or Caribbean like. Usually when people think of Island Chicken they think of a grilled or crispy chicken bites with pineapple bits, coconut shavings or honey glaze - something sweet or jerked and spicy if Caribbean inspired. The chicken had mushrooms and zucchini in it, I mean it wasn't disgusting but it was disappointing because it didn't taste like the islands at all. My guests only liked the mashed potatoes. Salt and pepper weren't even set on the tables so we couldn't add any flavor. For an event that has older people, the bland food is great. But for a wedding, graduation party or any other event full of young people we need seasoning. Whoever did the appetizers should be in charge of the dinners at this establishment.
Tl;Dr Environment, staff and price and desserts are all excellent. Appetizers are good. Main courses were horribly bland. If you do choose this establishment please fill up on appetizers so you...

Read moreWe held our wedding ceremony and reception with touch of class in October 2021 and they blew us away. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful with everything through out the night, made sure that everyone was comfortable and taken care of. If your event includes drinking and bar needs the staff manning the bar were amazing. The servers were great and covering the floor when serving the guest. The food was also a huge highlight from the guests. Myka was awesome to work with, she is very easy going and laid back making working with her very not stressful. Would recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking for place that facilities being able to hold a ceremony and reception in one place for a wedding, but also if a hall is needed for an event. [[Just an added note due to still being in the middle of the Covid situation .. all of the staff members were following mask guidelines and also had hand sanitizer readily...
