Bass Hole is such a fun free spot to visit! It has a unique salt marsh landscape, and during low tide, you can see lots of little crabs crawling around. Early July is the best time—the marsh grasses are lush and vibrant.
There’s a long boardwalk full of meaning, with each plank engraved to honor people and their beloved ones. At the end, there’s a small viewing deck perfect for a short rest. On one side of the boardwalk is the rocky marsh, and on the other, the sandy beach—truly beautiful.
