Central Park — Attraction in Denver

2 years later : I have come to appreciate how varied the playground is, making it appealing to the bigger kids (9-12).Lots of space for tag, hide and seek, climbing. It would be harder to see all the kids at once but with older kids it's no big deal. Seems cleaner (but Covid so not as many people). Still a good experience.

This playground is a sizable place, meaning a lot more time for holding kids attention. It has a unique design like little purple rubber hills, but it smells like burning chemical rubber in the park. There was a lot of lunch trash on the ground, which I attribute to a severe lack of trash cans within the actual park. The bathroom was fine but soap dispenser empty. At least there was a bathroom! I also appreciate the sizable green space surrounding the park in the form of soccer fields and...

The splash pad is great fun! It's only vertical water fountains. No structures or anything to play on in that area which is both a pro and con. Pro, less to get hurt on, easier to monitor my child from the dry area. Con, a bit less fun than it could be. The playground area is also really fun with a big variety of spaces to play and climb on. The trees there are small, but provide just enough shade to find a comfortable spot to sit. In a couple of years, it will be great. The splash pad area could use more shade, that's for sure. Overall it was a great way to spend a couple of hours with my 3yo. There were many kids older and younger who looked thrilled...

Love this park! Has everything that anyone could want in a park for families. Nice pond area with seating and beautiful views. A really nice path around the park as well as dirt paths off the north side of the park. The playground is phenomenal for anyone that needs a place to run their kids till their tired! Swings, spinning things and stuff to climb on are nice and they even have an area where fountains spray water. There is also a building with restrooms and that same building can be rented if you need some where to host a birthday party for example. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. I love to do pre season training for soccer...
