I am amending the two star review I gave a few months ago. I initially really disliked the loft theater, but management had good suggestions for seats that allow a little more room to move which is what I wanted as the other seats were too close together. I found the right seat for me so I’m good with the loft theater. I’ve also seen a show in the main auditorium since then and it was great. The staff is so nice and the popcorn is the best in town. Lastly, I’m so thankful for places like the Varsity that bring in amazing smaller films that otherwise wouldn’t get released here. Because of that I was able to see the extraordinary Sorry, Baby twice and have it become one of the best films I’ve ever seen and the best I’ve seen this year. Thank you, Varsity! You’ve got a new regular customer. Keep up...

They also host unique events, like a recent audio-described showing of Barbie for the visually impaired, which was such a thoughtful touch. The place was super clean (even the bathrooms), and the sound and picture were solid. The main auditorium is spacious, though only the back section has stadium-style seating. Seats were comfy enough, and overall, it’s just a cool spot to...
