DeSoto Police Department — Attraction in DeSoto

The Desoto Police & Fire Department saved my children's lives on October 16, 2013. We can never thank you enough for saving our lives the night my daughters husband at that time ambushed them in my garage. He shot my grandson 4 times, once through the heart, left lung and twice in the left abdomen, a guarantee kill, BUT GOD! My daughter was shot through the right forearm and they found a bullet logged in her shoulder. Due to the quick response of Desoto Police and EMT, they are alive today to tell their story. My Grandson had a very long recovery but we can honestly say he has a 100% recovery. Desoto Police had the shooter arrested within 11 minutes after the shooting. Had we lived in anywhere else we would not be alive today. Had he not be arrested within those 11 minutes and we arrived home after Church, he would have still been here waiting on me and my other family. There were 4 bullets left in the gun and there would of been 4 of us returning home that night from Church, But God! My grandson has been excepted to Concordia University in Chicago as their first Texas Recruit. Look at God! Thank You Desoto Police Department Keep doing the good work within our Community. Pretty pathetic. I own a business where the pathetic police department just constantly post up shooting radar. For getting about real crime. Needless to say I was pulled over with no insurance, inspection out and it was a white cop. Well I'm white as well. And as soon as he let me go with a reprimand he turns around and 5 mins later has a black couple with children pulled over. 20 mins after that car being towed off and children and family in hot streets waiting. So obviously only a traffic violation since no one was incarcerated. Racism is real and I witnessed it. Hopefully the management gets wind and does something about this injust act. White , black, Hispanic, Asian.....Racism desoto tx we do not play. Starts with top management. Maybe we need to see who that is and dig in their background. I felt so bad for the babies and family. Desoto and the white officer are wrong for that. Hopefully they don't try to take this down because...

Upon having a terrible night at Cracker Barrel in Desoto and being criminally trespassed officers J. Anguiano #361, S. Wright #359, J. Pineda #362, J. Pitts #369 were super unprofessional and didn't want to hear our side of the story and sided with the Manager who locked in some kids who threatened my family and I by trying to fight us and nearly pulled weapons on us. They didn't pull them out the restaurant and ask them questions, they didn't hear both sides of the story, they had their hands in their pockets and day dreaming not even listening. so much for protect and serve. But officer V. Grubb #332 took the time out of her hands and decided to write down notes and pay attention to our story to the fullest detail. Who knows we could've been shot or stabbed from the...
