OFF THE CHAIN I TELL YOU!! I didn’t realize this park was soooooooo abundantly huge!! It literally looked like a lake of people out there on Father’s Day. The Roger/Zapp Band was the headliners but everyone that performed before them gave a wonderful show for ALL of us to enjoy. Perfect weather, blow up playground tents for kids. Face painting, light up glasses, frozen lemonade & of course BYO-whatever we needed. No drama cuz a good ole wonderful Father’s Day time!! Seems great for outdoor weddings, family reunion picnics, sports competitions or any other outdoor group event. This park has more than ample space to accommodate any size for an outdoor event!

We have been coming to this park all spring season. Seen multiple dogs multiple times. We figured dogs were allowed. Especially since no signs posted at entrance saying otherwise. We arrived today, not even 5 minutes in, we get kicked out due to our pup who was not even roaming around but on our lap. He is a lap dog. I mentioned we have never seen a sign posted saying No Dogs. She insisted there is. I will post video showing that there is no sign saying no pets. Only mentioned no alcohol. Not cool at all!

Has 4 sides of fun they almost always have events at the bike/Bmx park. Me and kids randomly go to watch and cheer on the kids and adults who ride.

When baseball is in season you sometimes and find a empty ballpark that you can personally pay for fun a mini family game of ball for. We have mini treasure hunt to find leftover stray baseballs!!! We always find at least 1 every weekend during the season.

The playground in hidden under the treeline and stays cool enough during the summer months with the natural shade. It's right next to the pavilion. (Contact s city of Desoto to reserve but I think it's at little to no charge...not sure) great place to have a family get together with plenty of tables grills and the playground all right next to each other... also enough room for a bouncy house if you tent one for your party.

The wide open spaces of the soccer fields are pretty much open for any type of pay wether soccer or football. It's always busy with some kinds of sports... and their is even a small creek that gets filled with little crawfish during the spring months. Drys out by summer. ( nice to take the kids to see and try to catch them with a piece of meat on a string) for fun.

Has bathrooms open only during events.

Attended a youth Baseball tournament held there recently. The playing fields were decent however very poor, filthy conditions for the remaining facility. No working restrooms. The restrooms were shut down "for winter", even though temperatures were above freezing and several families were attending this tournament. The only porta potty, for the entire facility, was absolutely filthy and not cleaned or emptied. No concessions for the entire tournament. Admission was $10 per person regardless of age. Will not be attending this...
