On 5/27/23, I visited Moseley Water Park with my children, expecting a day of enjoyment and relaxation. Unfortunately, what should have been a delightful outing turned into a nightmare due to the shockingly negligent and incompetent lifeguard staff. It is crucial for me to share my harrowing experience to alert others about the perilous environment that exists within this water park. To start, my son fell victim to physical harm while we were at the water park. Despite the presence of a supposedly vigilant lifeguard, my son was struck by another child right in front of the lifeguard's eyes. Even more distressing is the fact that a concerned parent witnessed the incident and informed the lifeguard about what had happened. However, the lifeguard chose to disregard the situation entirely, displaying an utterly unacceptable level of negligence. Adding to the horrifying ordeal, another parent informed me that her child was drowning just moments before. Shockingly, the lifeguard failed to respond to this life-threatening situation, exhibiting a complete lack of concern and competence. The level of irresponsibility displayed by the lifeguard staff at Moseley Water Park is absolutely appalling. They have shown a blatant disregard for the safety and well-being of the park's visitors, particularly the vulnerable children. Witnessing such incompetence in a profession that demands utmost vigilance and immediate action is disheartening beyond words. I did discuss the incident with the manager on duty. I strongly advise anyone contemplating a visit to Moseley Water Park to reconsider their plans. The safety of you and your loved ones should never be compromised due to the sheer incompetence of lifeguard staff entrusted with protecting lives. There are numerous other water parks that prioritize visitor well-being and employ qualified individuals who take their responsibilities seriously. Moseley Water Park has not only lost my trust but also my endorsement. The lives of our children are far too precious to be endangered by the negligence of those who are meant to...
Read moreThis is the New and Improved Moseley Park!! 2023 rating are the accurate ones. I love the new look. Its fun to dip off in different areas and the snack bar rocks! Sigh.... real feel in Tx, 114 degrees. We decide to get two-hours of pool time.
Unlike any other water park we visit on the regular, Moseley Park cleans the pool every two hours. Little did we know, Moseley Park requires everyone to exit the pool during this "20 minute" cleaning, as we learned today.
Prior to us knowing this we arrived at 3:50 PM (they close at 6). A five minute wait in line, then paid for 5 people. As they were putting bands on our group we saw everyone getting out of the pool. Upon our inquiry and $30 bucks later, we were told the pool would be back opened shortly. So many people were leaving, I asked, did something happen; what is shortly? We were told 20 mins and I immediately asked for a refund. It was much to hot to wait outside of the pool and end up with less than two hrs of pool fun.
The manager came and did not want to refund me, but compromised with a two hour pass on different day and they would let us stay today after they re-opened the pool. We agreed, now it's about 4:15, the team already had everyone out of the pool and were cleaning. We left to get slushies and returned in 15 minutes only to wait, and wait, and wait some more for them to finish the '20 minute' cleaning. Then at about 4:43 PM, we saw people reentering the pool. Our group of kids went to swim, and we decided to skip the pool fun because by that time I was out of the mood to swim since there was only an hour and 8 mins left before they closed. I am sure they...
Read moreI love this pool pretty cool place took my son here for birthday party . Only one 7 year old son wanted to slide the lifeguard told him to take off his vest off which I didn’t quite understand . if he would’ve started to drown because he wasn’t as tall as the water then what ?? it’s a life guard there yes ok still does not make this okay . We attend a lot of waterparks not one single waterpark would tell a child to take the swim vest off at no point ! The Hispanic guy with braces also had no professionalism what so ever the lifeguards were just a little aggressive i knows it’s kids who don’t listen but you don’t follow the rules kick them out ! Knowing how to speak in a firm polite professional way . I just observed the way the were speaking to others . I didn’t have a situation but I...
