It was fairly quiet. The only problem I saw, personally, was getting down to the river might be a little tough for people with disabilities because it's slightly uphill. If you just want to relax and drop a line in the water, it's pretty decent.

Place is close to a restaurant with the name Coriander which has a place for canoeing with a guide. Offer enough parking and frequently used by fishermen.

I go here with my grandchildren, friends and dog. Something for everyone to see and do. Just the right amount of woods for short pleasant hikes.

The most potential for this property is to be a asset to the community should take it over from the city. Not in the way attempted before. Give it to an organization that could take care of it and maintain access to the grounds and facilities free of charge for community members of Detroit and their guests. I would tour it into a outdoor music venue. it has the parking and enough room to hold daytime and sunset concerts. The organization could hold private events as as well as public one to pay for operations and investment in necessary improvements. But what can't be done is sell it to a developer. It was deeded to the City by the Ford family for the entire city of...

Big boulders surround the grass areas, which adds additional safety and keeps cars where they should be. Handicapped accessible spots to park. Near a...
