Visited on a warmer February day around lunchtime and it seemed to be a popular spot for locals to sit and eat lunch while watching the river (or smoke a lunchtime joint cause the smell was strong!). Lots of people were sitting in their cars parking area was pretty full for midday on a Friday in February. There were a few on the dock area and a couple groups fishing. We went to see the lighthouse which is shockingly small, and bit run down but we’re on a mission to see them all! My kid used the bathroom and said it was disgusting. Read moreCame for the lighthouse. It is smaller than the photo online. Nice quiet area. The park needs some TLC- new trash cans, pull weeds off concrete, paint. It would be nice if the bathroom had doors on stalls- but I was grateful it was there. There's easy access for kayaks. Oh! The water is so clear....
