an amazing park have been going for years and they have a wide salection of stuff to do. They have tennis courts, a movie theater, volley ball nets, a pool, a baby pool, two diving boards, grills, a peer where you are able to dook boats fish and feed ducks, they have a consetion stand with Ice cream and all types of food. They have a playground including a sandbox, a swing set, animals you can bounce on, a climbing set at more. There are a lot of picnic table and you are able to move them. bye the pool there are atleast 80 lawn/normal chairs. next to the pool is a building that include showers for the swimmers, and when you step further into the building is the movie thearter I believe the are two threater room for two seperate movies. you do need to buy a pass and it isnt that exspensive depending on the one that you are buying. over all I recommend it this park for movies, birthday partys and just a great place to cool off. pool opens memorial day and...
Read moreBest park in the Park! I start my weekdays here at 5:30 AM, when the gym opens. In the summer, the pool also opens at 5:30 AM to lap swimmers. There is nothing better than a workout to the sunrise over Lake St. Clair. We love seeing the first run movies here with the kids. Make sure and get your tickets earlier in the day, if it is a hit movie, they do sell out. They finally heated the toddler pool, which is appreciated. It was always beautiful and now it is also practical. The new sunroom addition to the Tompkins center is well done. I do wish that they would add Jetski parking in the marina. I believe we have the only marina in the Pointes that has nothing for Jetski's. There is my wish!
