Excellent place for children. My niece didn't want to leave. It may seem like a simple water park with not too much to offer, but children love it, they play, make friends, and enjoy the fresh water on hot days. The water park is close to an ice cream shop called "Nevería Los Arcos" where I bought ice cream, snacks, and drinks for my niece. There are also restaurants, gas stations, a bank, and a regular playground close to the water park so the kids will not get bored and won't stay hungry either. The water park may be fun only during summer but they're other events like the fall fair that offer lots of fun, food, and nice stuff for people of all ages. It's worth the time and money to come here. When I took my niece to the water park the first time we hadn't planned to go there, we only went to the ice cream shop but seeing all the kids playing there made her want to play as well. We didn't bring anything with us so we looked for a dollar store and there were a couple of them which were very close, less than 5 minutes away. After we bought her towel, flip flops, and bathing suit, she finally was able to go play with the other kids at the park. There were kids of all ages, so everyone can have fun, of course, all the babies needed to be supervised at all times which parents did. There are chairs where all parents can sit down and supervise their kids while they play. There are also some tables with umbrellas where parents can sit and eat, these are located outside the fender that surrounds the water park because food is not allowed inside, but even if the parents are outside of the fender they can still supervise the kids, it's a small fence that allows people to stay vigilant even from outside. All this is for free, there's no fee required to enter the park and people can stay as long as they want, of course respecting the park's time which may vary depending on the season, holidays, and special events there might be.
I will surely come back and recommend this water park to all my friends who...
Read moreEven if you are not from Dobson, it is worth a drive to this park. The water features are good for all ages. We brought a 1-year-old and a 3-year old and they were able to interact with kids of all ages. There were misters and fountains around the perimeter with four bucket drops in the center. Everything seemed well layed out and there was no standing water. The pad sits right at the intersection of two downtown streets but there is an acceptable, albeit flimsy, fence equipped with multiple gates surrounding it. There are also benches all around the pad for adults. Bring sunscreen because there...
Read moreGreat splash pad! Big, lots of different spray areas, so its good for kids of all ages, sizes, and comfort levels. Decent amount of seating inside and just outside the fence. I wish yhey would allow water bottles in the splash pad area. There is always an attendant nearby who is very good about making sure people are safe and following the rules (without limiting fun!), which I appreciate. The floor of the splalsh pad is a little worse for wear, but there arent any visible cracks. Great place for a...
