Little Italy — Restaurant in Dobson

In my opinion... best Italian food around the Surry County area. I've yet to find another italian restraunt that even pales in comparision to the absolutely mouth watering food offered by Little Italy. We enjoyed a large pepperoni pizza and an order of spaghetti with meat sauce. First off the pizza, it's huge, what I know as a "New York" style pizza, huge slices, thin, but not too cripsy to be considered "crunchy", its more of a flaky crust. The cheese was perfect melted and not a single pepperoni was remotely burned. Delicious. The spaghetti with meat sauce was good, I'm not the biggest fan of pasta in general but my wife insisted I try a bite, but it successfully orchastrated a delightful medly of pasta, a very rich tomato sauce, and a good portion of meat mixed in. The food here is definetely upper tier and the chefs obviously care what their customers are consuming. I love the food and will continue to give this place my business when the italian...

We have driven all day to get to our destination Mt. Airy, NC. We decided to order in pizza from Little Italy in Dobson. So very disappointed. The crust on my pizza was burned to a crisp. I had ordered and paid for fresh tomatoes, which I did not get. A salad, I asked to hold the green olives, of course there were green olives on the salad. I decided to call the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager. I explained to him all the above. I am sorry, he did not have a clue! First he said we must of ordered from another location because they had not made a pizza like that. I gave him the address where we ordered and picked up our pizza, to disprove his notion. Then he said he gave our order to someone else, no you didn't sir, you just didn't read the instructions on the online order as my order was not as ordered. He offered for me to come in and he'd give me a pizza. No thank you. And we paid $55 for this wonderful...

I ordered the Spaghetti & Meatballs with garlic 'bread' & salad. Now I wanna be nice cause their salads was to YUMMY! Also. The portions was VERY generous!

Now, hate this part, the bad-- First the bread was blackened and burnt, SO hard that I ended up not being able to eating it. My order was 45 min late on top the given 40 min wait . The spaghetti sauce, TERRIBLE. Take a can of tomato sauce, not seasonings, and just open can and pour... It tasteds EXACTLY the same. Yuck!

I didn't get a drink, I'm guessing didn't come with it? But burnt bread, I threw outside the the birds, picked the meat balls out and Bland noodles on the generous mound of spaghetti with yucky sauce and devoured my salad..

Over priced.. but GENEROUS portions. I only got that and paid $23 something .. not counting tipping the delivery...
