On the afternoon of September 10th, my wife and I visited AMC Tamiami 18 to watch the movie âAfraIDâ in Auditorium 3. As with our previous visits, everything was excellent: the room had good air conditioning, the audio and movie projection were top-notch, and the reclining seats were very comfortable, creating a great atmosphere to enjoy the film. However, what stood out this time was the exceptional service we received from Doriel in the Customer Service area. My wife had trouble accessing her AMC account due to web maintenance, and Doriel was incredibly helpful in resolving the issue. Later, in the cafeteria, Doriel assisted us again with a ticket change and the large package of popcorn for my wifeâs birthday. Thank you, Doriel, and the entire staff at AMC Tamiami 18, for your outstanding service. Keep up the excellent work!

My wife and I went to AMC Tamiami 18 today, intending to see new movies again on Tuesdays with the offers for AMC Stubs Insider members and also for seniors. We went to the matinee in auditorium 16. It was our first experience back to the movies after the COVID pandemic. Overall the experience was very good, excellent service in the cafeteria, the screening room was clean, we liked the movie (Alien: Romulus, I'm a fan of Alien 1 and 2) and the atmosphere in the auditorium was excellent. The only thing to note was that one of our seats (D10 and D9) was not working well and the armrests were broken, I think some seats need maintenance and repair. Also the screening of movies with Spanish subtitles will surely motivate more Spanish speakers to go to the movies. I think this excellent experience has motivated us to resume visits to our AMC...

There was a guy at the front door named David which should not be working with the general public.
He was rude to the people in front of me and once it was my turn with my two girls he approached me in a very unpleasant manner.
First he asked if my girls were 17 I said no because theyâre both 15 (twins)
If you review my purchase history I have dropped off my girls plenty times to watch different movies rated R at AMC 18prior to this without a problem also as their parent I feel like I should have the power to make the decision if my child watches a rated R movie or not.
Also the same employee who was rude to us allowed other children (two boys) which were minors in right after being super rude to us.
I complained to the guy at the front desk and told him how come he allowed other under age boys but not my girls inside (later they came in during our movie with security personnel to escort the boys out)
I had a water bottle which I was drinking as I have a medical condition and I take medication twice a day and your staff was so rude about me having a water which I ended up drinking and throwing it out.
Absolutely disgusting behavior.
I donât know how miserable a person has to be to treat others so badly for no reason. Iâll also be contacting customer service pertaining my experience as well.

   Read moreI've been to about 9 different theaters in south florida (8 of them in 2018) and out of all of them this has to be the best one. I came here back in early 2000s and boy has it changed since. It's completely modern now and the ticket prices are lower than the nearby outdated Regal Kendall Village. every auditorium is reserved seating with reclining seats. you have a bar if you wanna have a drink, self serving unlimited soda refills. at the entrance to every auditorium you'll find a big LCD display showing the name of the movie and start time. they've clearly gone out of their way to make this the best theater in south florida.
my only complaints with this theater is the customer service is pretty bad. i went up to the counter to get some information about joining A-List and they could not give me any solid answers to my questions (they were all maybe answers). i don't know if that happens at every AMC but i was really dissapointed to find that i was basically left to find the answers to my questions by looking it up myself and taking the risk and joining A-List and praying that my answers would be answered once i joined. Luckily the app gives me my tickets so i don't need to worry about the lack of customer service as i will only be interacting with the usher at the entrance to scan my ticket and that's it but i hope their customer service will be better in case something happens in the future such as power outage that entitles us to...
