Qiu Salon Doral — Attraction in Doral

Honestly, I don’t know how I feel. I called the salon because my daughter was taking dance classes nearby and the first thing I asked is how much for a Blo Dry they gave me a pricing that it ran from $30-$75 I said fine how much would it be for hair up to my shoulders they told me about 45 great. made the appointment showed up 15 minutes early and They started washing my hair. The girl did great but it was a normal wash then I got my hair blow dried. Also the hairstyle was fine. I have no complaints in that department or in the shampoo bowl where my problem arises is that I asked over the phone how much it would be giving the person multiple Opportunities to explain their real pricing. She never told me that depending on the style the pricing goes up and she never told me that they charge to wash hair. So I went in expecting a $45 Blo Dry ended up paying for a $60 Blo Dry because I did soft curls and apparently because I washed my hair. Again, I don’t have a complaint with the person who did my hair. His name was Jose. He was fine and I didn’t have a complaint with the lady who washed my hair also did a fine job but I really don’t like businesses that make me feel like I’m being lied to. I feel like if a person ask you over the phone the pricing that is the perfect opportunity for you to respond with the truth it’s going to be five dollars for a hair wash and $10 for curls if that’s what you want. I was not told that in the front desk. So overall I give them a two stars because of that reason, I just think that needs to be fixed. The customer feels cheated instead of feeling pampered and happy. Total spent was $80 because I gave both people that helped me 10 dollars. I just don’t like businesses that are not transparent so if you are like me and want to come here just make sure you ask everything in detail how much it’s going to be before going because they will not go out of their way to be truthful.

Update .. no thank you I won’t be returning but a word of advice. If that is how you are structuring your business you should tell customers that call and actually ask your front desk how much a service will be. I traveled to Miami last week and had the opportunity to visit Qiu Salon. The staff try to make you feel special since you walk in, they offered me something to drink and helped me getting my cell phone charged with a portable charger as soon as they saw me in the look for a plug. What made this visit more satisfactory was the work Hector Chacin did in my hair, he did a fantastic job changing my hair cut and color in a fairly short time, no more than 2 hours. In South Carolina when I go to a hair salon and get all the services Hector did for me, I would spend around 4 hours and without the results I got from his work. My hair looks healthy and shiny and my self esteem is in a good level now. Hector not only fixed my hair but also did a hair cut on my 4 years old son and he did absolutely great. I can't express enough how much I enjoyed my experience and how much I would love visit Hector next time I travel to Miami. I highly recommend Qiu Salon but if you can get Hector to take care of you, you will see what I am talking about. I loved this salon to the moon and back and have found my perfect hairstylist: Ali Hadi. He made this experience fantastic and transformed my previously ugly so called balayage into the bubbly blonde I had been looking for. Which is something wonderful, because no other stylist has done so like Ali, and man had I tried countless times to find my perfect stylist, only to meet with failure! But not this time! He worked my hair with talent and care so that I was left with no damage and soft tresses of natural, beautiful blonde. I'm so glad I found this salon and Ali, and I recommend you make your appointment with him if you're ready to make a gorgeous change that will boost your self confidence. You won't regret it!

The salon is lively, welcoming, warm and beautiful. The area is absolutely pristine and everyone has this touch to them, like they're all beauty-fairies sent down here to make a little magic....
