This was by far the worst spa experience I've ever had. I regularly get massages in the area for neck and back pain following a car accident, and Iāve never experienced anything as unprofessional and uncomfortable as this.
I prepaid for a 90-minute massage package that was supposed to include multiple services like a body scrub ā but half of those were never provided. When I asked, I was told they didnāt have enough staff. During the massage, I asked for more attention to my neck and back (which I explained clearly), and the therapist repeatedly said āno more,ā even when I offered to pay extra. Despite paying for 90 minutes, I didn't receive the full time, and the massage itself was rushed, painful, and just completely ineffective.
What made it even worse was the atmosphere ā staff were loudly arguing in a foreign language right outside the room every time I asked a question or tried to clarify something, and they seemed visibly annoyed with me. It made the experience feel really uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I also saw staff eating and sleeping in the so-called "sauna rooms," which were messy and completely unhygienic.
In the end, I walked out and went across the street to Treat Your Feet, where I was treated with professionalism and actually felt relief after the session ā something I definitely did not get at Roman Holiday Spa.
I would never recommend this place. Completely unprofessional, rude, and not worth a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were pleased with our visit to RH. The staff members are very hospitable and their prices are similar to those at other Korean spas. I think a little aromatherapy in the front desk area would be nice as there was a slight odor that was not pleasing to me. One thing that I truly appreciated is being allowed to wear spa slippers. I usually wrap my feet with plastic covers since I absolutely hate walking barefoot in public places! As a person with mobility issues, I found it very hard getting down and up from the floors. They should add a couple of benches. The dry sauna was great and the body scrub was the best I've had at a Korean sauna. We arrived on a Saturday evening around 7 pm and it was not crowded, but as the night progressed, more people were present. Later in the evening, we could hear some loud music from one of the local businesses. Not sure if this is an issue they can control, but maybe some meditative music to complete with the other "noise". Also, some of the ceilings were not fully painted. They need to do a few touch-ups. For right now, 4 stars. Maybe on my next visit, it'll be 5 stars. I do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery nice place only thing is the staff is very rude and disrespectful to white people especially me. Iām constantly watched harassed and talked about. They even refused to let me in one time because I had a big luggage and they said they had nowhere. There was nowhere I can put it, but they have big locker rooms and locks. I donāt recommend this place because they lie about the kitchen hours kitchen hours say they close at 10 or 11 so I go in there at 8 oāclock and the five Asian ladies at a table look at me and say close it close it close no no get out upstairs upstairs go go go across the street yeah all of us said that and I go over there all the time respectful I clean up after myself I donāt do any homosexual activity but while Iām there, but they allowed any other homosexual activity I donāt care but when I do it itās a problem they are they discriminate and their sexist and theyāre racist towards white people adorable Bill adorable...
