The end of May is a great time for the scenic drive. The weather was beautiful and was the stops we made. Make sure to grab a slice or two of pie from Betty's pies. We only went about 70 miles up the coastline and still took 5 hours.

Stopped by to put our feet in the water after a long canoeing trip in Ely Minnesota. Being from GA, this was a once in a life time opportunity to see Lake Superior. Water is crazy cold but beautiful.

Not a bad park, very little parking, has a tiny park with a few swings at this location (Brighton Beach). Pit toilets were ok, floors were rather dirty. Beautiful view, main reason we went. Has a bike and walking path but didn't have time...
