It took us about 2 hours to walk the track loop. We did a total of about 4.5 miles with several hills. (We did a bit extra on a trail) We estimate the largest hill at about 150ft elevation change. We wanted to walk the interior trails but it seemed they were for mountain bikers so we didn't. Parking had plenty of spaces. There is a brick house bathroom in the parking lot off rout 31. The other lot is an outhouse bathroom. Trees are just starting to change color so in about a week it should be fairly beautiful. There were some neat futes like the silo and a really long bridge. Parts of the track are still visible and the signage does a great job explaining what was were.

I’ve been coming here for years during all seasons and it never gets old. The paved trail will definitely give you a workout. There are many trails within the wooded areas, my only suggestion is that you ensure you can hear bikers coming as they ride through them very fast. You will always find something cool along the way. People are very friendly and greet you as they pass. I like to start my walks along the farm so that I can walk by and greet the horses. Sometimes you can hear the owner jamming out to music and it just gives a vibe 😀. You’ll also run into deer once in a while.

Wonderful bike track, full of history and excitement. I rode around the old track first and then ventured into the trails. My favorite hands down was monza. It was challenging and scary, yet exciting. The trails are mainanted very well, they're technical and flow really well. This place offers something for everyone. Being an amateur mountain biker I found some sections alittle too difficult so i stayed on the more beginner friendly trails. Serpentine is a good beginner route.

I come here from time to time for mountain biking. It’s a very pleasant well maintained bike trail. Nothing super challenging or hard but still a fun place to ride. I would definitely recommend this for intermediate and beginner riders. If you’re looking for something more challenging this is going to be too easy for you I would probably go to Palos instead. But if you’re looking for a good cardio workout then it’s definitely great for that.

Great mountain bike trails. Different levels of difficulty and paved trails for those looking for easy (no easy dirt paths). The only downside is the mountain bike trails aren't well marked or one direction, so you constantly come upon riders coming head on and it's too narrow for two directional riding so you constantly have to pull off trail and wait. Directional signs, difficulty markers, and one way loops would greatly improve the ride.

Not only is the old raceway a trail, but there are nature trails, benches, and picnic areas throughout the park. It will take many visits to explore them all. Everything appears to be very well maintained and the scenery was very pretty, especially in the snow when we went. Trails lend themselves particularly well for bicycles, but work well for hikers too. We are looking forward to returning with our cross-country skis.
