We were here at Fall Creek Falls with our camper. The hike from campground B to the fall was a good 4 hour walk forth and back. Gorgeous terrain. Absolutely gorgeous landscape. The hike down the gorge to the bottom of the waterfall was a bit challenging after a day of rain and slippery boulders to navigate but not impossible. I saw folks with flip flops do it. I would recommend at least good pair of sneakers or better hiking boots. The park is busy but it offers plenty to do. We only and for three nights and really only two days to explore. But i am sure we will be only touching some of the highlights. There is no cell phone coverage with t mobile. Even approaching the area cell phone cuts out in this region. However, the campgrounds and common areas have free and fast wifi. Good enough for tv streaming. Very thoughtful touch for the tech addicted guests or if one needs to stay connected for work. I felt relief as I needed to take care of a bit of business that otherwise would have cut my stay short. All in all a great park. The campsites are mostly paved with full hookups. But many are not level. My RV is still sitting a bit uphill even with leveling jacks. Lots of trash cans everywhere. Good water pressure, and plenty of sanitary buildings so there is always one close. Better than most commercial...

I absolutely fell in love with this place!! It is free to get into the park. There is plenty of parking and several places to park depending on how you want to approach the falls. There is an overlook that offers an amazing view from above the falls. The trail down to the base is 1/2 a miles of fairly steep rock steps and rough terrain. It is considered very strenuous but we thought it was just past moderate. Coming up will be the part that tests your leg muscles! Close to the bottom is a large rock face with areas that can be climbed. My boys got behind the falls although that got them fully wet in 30deg weather (smh) and there is a large boulder in front of the falls to climb for unique pics and perspectives. We can’t wait to come back in...

I cannot wait to get back to the falls! My body really needs the challenge! The stone steps are varying heights and depths, which is definitely part of the challenge! Bring a snack for a rest time at the falls! It is cooler there, than at the top of the falls/trailhead, because of the mist from the falls. We went in the summer, and saw a snake roaming around in the water, not poisonous, not bothering anyone, just sharing the space. Visiting Fall Creek Falls really is a full sensory experience (even the next day when it is hard to get...
