Cane Creek Falls \ Cascades & Rockhouse Falls are all located in Fall Creek Falls State Park and are accessible from the parking lot of the Betty Dunn Nature Center. From here, you can see three separate waterfalls, enjoy a short hike, and gain access to a great swimming hole area that kids will love at the base of Cane Creek Cascades!
Cane Creek Falls is the largest by volume of the many waterfalls in Fall Creek Falls State Park and responsible for carving the impressive gorge that is responsible for the other falls and along with Rockhouse Falls, and can be seen from an overlook that is accessible from the Betty Dunn Nature Center. Better views are available, but require navigation of the difficult cable trail down to the base of the falls that involves a 45 degree descent that requires a cable to assist you on the way down.

Read moreBreathtaking, beautiful, unreal. Just an absolutely gorgeous view from top to bottom and they have an awesome little nature center. We made the drive out from the Smokies (about 3.5 hours) and it was so worth it! Did the cable trail which they said is their shortest but most strenuous hike, at about 8 weeks pregnant and was able to survive it but be warned, it’s no joke! We were the only ones down at the falls (other than spiders as big as my hand but hey, nature) which was surprising but we loved it. Definitely a must see, even if you’re driving hours...
Read moreThis is one of the stunning falls in the Fall Creek Falls State Park. It is easy to find this place and is located right behind the Nature Center in the park. Beautiful and breadth taking viewpoints. There are really well maintained steps to the base of the falls. There is also sky bridge to cross over and offers breath taking views of this stunning falls and the stream. Lots of hiking spots between the nature center, Cane Creek falls, and Fall Creek falls.
