East Durham Park — Attraction in Durham

This is a relatively nice sized play structure. On the 5-12 age play structure there’s only one small slide. The rest of the structure is mostly upper body. There are two different types of monkey bars, some rope courses, and various other climbing structures. The 2-5 age play structure has 3 slides and a steering wheel on it. There are 4 big kid swings and 1 little kid swing with room for another. The flooring under the bigger structure has some bounce and the rest is mostly wood chucks. There are benches, two picnic tables and a picnic shelter with seating under it. There’s also a small open grass area.

There is no restroom and parking is on the street which is limited. There was also a good bit of trash from people just not picking up...

Nice little park with a really cool playground area! It isn’t very high like some are, having a second story, or even a third level, but, this one is spread out. There are dozens of different things to climb on or hang from. A lot! There’s a picnic shelter there but no bathroom building. This is one of those playgrounds that’s kinda set up like an obstacle course, with all kinds of different challenges connected to each other… Great little park for...
