I really enjoyed coming here, so much that I visited twice. I had hoped to come many times more, but on my second visit I had noticed a change in the attitudes of some of the staff and that was really disappointing. I was on the ropes course and a staff member was blocking the entrance to one obstacle. A young girl was on the ropes course also and arrived at the same obstacle as me. She asked how to do an obstacle, and the staff member told her that he doesn't know. It didn't rub me the wrong way if he didn't know how to do the course, but it was his tone and his unwillingness to even help her. I was hoping for him to say that he was just joking and then explain it or at least allow her some room to hook her harness on that course so that she could at least explore the obstacle, but he didn't. That was unfortunate to witness considering how these are paying guests and it is a pretty penny to attend this place for 3 hours. I believe that that staff member should treat all guests with some level of decency and respect, no matter their age. I just feel like that encounter could've been handled a lot differently. It was sad because I saw some staff members who really tried to make connections and prioritize our safety by double checking our harnesses and offering their help with tightening. But the rude staff could really make an impact on the guest experience. Other than that, this place is really fun and has amazing rock climbing and bouldering walls... but I'd recommend this only to people who live in that city. I wouldn't recommend driving over an hour one way on a pricey family outing just to be treated poorly some of the staff. I do wish to see some improvements to the customer experience for the future guests. A little effort...
Read moreNo kind of guidance at all other than the staff showed us how to put the zip line clips on. The staff acted like they didn’t work there or something. We would walk up to them waiting for guidance and they would just stand there and stare at you crazy.
No instructions on how to do any of the obstacles. The zip line obstacle are self explanatory but the ones underneath on the floor are not. I do not see how this place would be child friendly. They did not offer us free gloves like stated in another review. No helmets given either. No music was playing for the 1st 45 mins while we were there, so complete awkward silence, I started playing my own music. We got there at 3:15pm as we wanted to use our whole 3 hour time, staff were in there cleaning during operation hours. I would suggest cleaning should be done prior to opening so guests can enjoy all obstacles. A few obstacles were closed due to cleaning/ other reasons. Had to go and find staff for the activities. No staff were at their post other than for zip line. Definitely over priced. Be careful on the slide. No guidance was given and I busted/ bruised my lip. Not safe at all.
Definitely have to be physically fit to do the obstacles on the floor. Luckily I am but was still too short to reach majority of the stuff. They have blocks that you can self pull from the side, but that would get repetitive and annoying to have to keep dragging them around and setting them up yourself every time. If you fall down from these elevated obstacles injuries would definitely occur and I didn’t want to risk it. No knee pads, no helmet, no gloves. Floor mats are not very cushioned so I wouldn’t trust falling on them.
Front desk staff was the only friendly one. Young lady with glasses...
Read moreBest place to bring kids AND ADULTS…of ALL ages in the entire Triangle BY FAR. Hands down. My entire family has been frequent visitors of other local trampoline parks and ropes course/obstacle places in Raleigh, Apex, and Durham…frequently they are poorly supervised, over run with children minus their parents, and just generally stressful—especially when visited on the weekends, which is the best and sometimes only time possible during the school year. The Coates family has done an incredible job seeing their vision through and have created a place worth the drive if you’re in a neighboring town (we live in Holly Springs and it took about 40 minutes to get here). Many pass options available. They have plenty of knowledgeable staff and the safety protocols are firmly in place and we felt very comfortable with our brigade of kids. We came with a 3 year old, a 7 year old, 2 10 year olds and a 12 year old. All had a blast and stayed engaged for 3 hours. We all got an excellent workout and the park is very thoughtfully laid out for safety AND easy navigation for all ages on the equipment. Lots of planning and care went into the layout and design of this place, and it shows. Kudos. Oh, and to top it all off, they have a couch, TV, table area for parents to kick it while watching their kids. Complimentary coffee, ice cream with toppings, and popcorn for all. Just so well done. I was on the hunt for creamer for my coffee after a zipline run, and a kind gentleman (who I suspect may have been the owner) went out of his way to grab me some from the back. These are the differences that are so memorable. OC Aerial is knocking it out...
