Great dog park with a nice workout. So here's the thing... this park has some Steep and slippery terrain. This is a minimal maintenance park and as such you are likely to encounter steep slopes, dips in the path, muddy/icey spots, and root tripping hazards. I would not recommend those with balance issues come to this park. But hey, if ya want a workout it is great to do interval hiking up and down the trails. A standard double gated entry from paved parking lot. Seperated area for small/timid dogs. Water dishes and bags. Several benches throughout and a pavilion just inside the gate. The open "field" is a pretty good size. Small rocks cover the majority of this area and into some of the paths. A smattering of medium and small paths criss cross through the forest and the bottom of the hill is a fenced gate that leads to a pond/lake. Read moreIt's a decent park if you live in the area. Its large but a big part of it is a steep hill leading down to a kind of dirty lake. The top of the hill is a small field which is a nicer area. Again if you go into it expecting a smaller park and you live close by then it's good. There is almost always 2-3 dog owners there which is another plus.
