I am only giving a 1 because it won't let me give a 0. Our experience with them was AWFUL. My fiancée purchased my engagement ring last April. He proposed in mid May which is when I started wearing it. It was beautiful! It was a circular halo and I loved it. My fiancee paid good money for this ring and we expected quality. Well....first we had to take it in to them in August because the center stone was loose. Joseph, the manager, argued with me and said it was fine - until I walked over there and he touched it and the diamond spun in the setting. He then told me that not only was that diamond loose but there were 5 loose in the band! They fixed it for me and all was good. Until October....the ring broke into two separate pieces!!! I work behind a desk answering the phone and typing so no strenuous activity. Turns out a diamond fell out which weakened the already thin band. They ended up casting a brand new ring (I had told them that I preferred to exchange for a different setting because I was fearful this could happen again). Got the ring back in November. Now here we are and the band has lost a diamond! I spoke with Joseph and someone at corporate and both were extremely rude. They wouldn't listen to me or my frustration. Joseph kept interrupting me and at one point even stated "I don't design the rings, I don't produce the rings" so therefore you're not responsible for correcting the situation of the ring you sold?! I told them that that they could have their ring back and I wanted a full refund. I was told I "would not get my money back". There would be no refund and after inspecting the ring, they'd just cast another. They are not in the business of doing right by their customers and could have cared less about what I felt or had to say. I got off the phone with them feeling more upset! This "business" is a joke. I do NOT recommend them to anyone. At this point, I would rather throw the ring away than have to wear another one from them or have to deal with...
Read moreI just want to thank Adrian, Amir, and Joseph!!!!! You guys were awesome... yet again. My husband and I just celebrated our 25yr anniversary this past Monday 2/24/2020. We have been loyal customers of Jewelry Exchange in Eagan (Joseph opened it in fall of 2006) since February 2007. Back in 2007 my husband surprised me with an amazing upgraded wedding ring with a beautiful .75 oval yellow diamond that he knew I'd love. Fast forward 13 years. My husband knew I wanted to take advantage of TJE's awesome upgrade program. Adrian initially helped my husband pick out a stunning new setting and a beautiful 1.07 oval cinnamon colored diamond. The new diamond just wasn't sparking the joy I hoped it would though so we opted to use the upgrade. We received 80% of what we paid for the .75 and 100% of the 1.07 diamond. I decided to go in to inquire about what I could get for what money we'd have between the two diamonds. This is when I met Amir. He was SO helpful. I explained what I was looking for. I gave him the specs I wanted in a new diamond and he found the most STUNNING little lemon drop ball of sunshine. It's a 1.53 famcy brownish yellow modified cushion. Today (2/27/20) we pulled the trigger and went in and got the new stone. The perfect stone Amir had found for my new anniversary gift. I honestly could go on haha. They've never been anything but professional and SO helpful. You have a repeat customer for life from the Cameron family. I just wish I could share a photo on this review to share my happiness with you all!! Thanks again TJE! You helped my husband make his wife...
Read more**edit, after buying the setting for my diamond, I found a few days later the diamond band had one diamond that was cockeyed. looks horrible. someone else actually pointed it out so yes, it's noticeable. be on the lookout. every jeweler I take it to says that it can't be fixed because it was set that way and is defective.
1st time I went the guy that helped me was not very helpful. I was upgrading my wedding ring and needed a band to go with it as well for our 5 -yr-anniversary. He told me it didn't need to be resized and didn't even get out the rings to help find a correct size. I bought a two piece set and he knew I was already married but still insisted that I don't solder them yet. He told me to give it a few weeks. There was also a slight language barrier which also made it difficult to communicate my wishes. I was upset about this especially after leaving the store and realizing the ring was defiantly too big. We live about an hour and 20 min away. i went back a few days later to get the same ring resized and then Soldered. The man who helped this time was AMAZING he was very knowledgable, thorough and friendly! He defiantly made up for that first trip that I was not happy with. I will defiantly go back but maybe call and find out Joshua's...
