Redwood Park — Attraction in Eagle

This is a park within walking distance of several neighborhoods. A nice walking path surrounds the park which is dog friendly. The play ground has something for every mobile age group. Swings, slides, monkey bars, tall platforms, short platforms, play areas that my kid likes to pretend is a store... Just a lot of fun for kiddos. Be careful though there is a pond, so like any park with a pond you have to make sure your kids aren't trying to get in. Not a draw back just something to be aware of. In the summer an event called "Ustik in Bloom" is held there as a community event with food trucks, local businesses and government services, and service organizations. This is always a fun way to get to know people...

Nothing but good things to say minus one instance. Elderly man and his partner were out and my son and I were at the park . It’s nice because a lot of the times I go I find we are completely alone which is great nobody in the park except this couple. Given that fact the man was a smoker and could smoke anywhere… pond, parking lot, street, massive field of grass that is football fields long, playground… the list goes on. Where does he choose to smoke a cigarettes… he goes into the one male bathroom and completely hot boxes it . To the point my son and I choked upon entering… wanted to say hey there’s a million places to smoke and you choose here!?! By the time we came out...

The playground is nice. It is a dog park where people can let their dogs off leash. I had snacks for my kids as I was there for the playground and I had to keep moving them away from curious dogs. This was a late Friday afternoon. Maybe other times have fewer Curious dogs. Just because your dog is off leash doesn't mean it's ok for them to let them stick their noses into other people's food. There are about 4 picnic tables and several benches in the shade by the playground. There is a water fountain with a low bowl for dogs to drink from. The bathroom is...
