My boyfriend used them a few times and they are terrible. I'm pretty sure he had been swindled by them multiple times because he admitted that every time he used them before their service was unacceptable. They seem polite enough to a point. My boyfriend does music (he has a studio that he made in his house), and his computer was not running fast enough for him to make music. We went back and forth with them and they tired to get offended and mad at us for us just trying to get them to do right. Not only are they slow as hell. They would always keep our computers for well over a month (usually 6 to 8 weeks) when it should not take but a few days or a few weeks at best to fix. They would grossly overcharge as well. And I'm pretty sure (at least according to my boyfriend) they would charge us for things that either didn't really need to be fixed or it did and they would either not fix it or use a used part (and charge for a brand new one). I know personally I had had problems with my WiFi connection being accidentally deleted off so they needed to re upload the WiFi connection servers back on and I asked for my computer to be checked for viruses, and my computer mouse was always back-tracking and deleting things I would type. Anyway, when I got my computer back they had done nothing to it. The computer still lacked the ability to connect to WIFI, and it still did not have a way for me to type up documents (like with Microsoft Word or Open Office or whatever since it accidentally got deleted too), and it still had the other small problems too. My boyfriend said that his computer was not really running like he felt it should and he felt that they charged him $500 and they fixed nothing or at least not what they said they fixed. Anyway, we went back and forth with them on the phone and in person. They took mine back and put some free virus protection on it, uploaded the ability to connect to WIFI, put a free Open Office on it, and they fixed the back-tracking cursor. They didn't charge extra for it, since they had charged him $500 my few minor problems and to fix his computer and replace this other part that supposedly (according to my boyfriend) this part was under $100 or not over $150 or something like that. Anyway, I don't recall when my computer finally got done. I know it was probably in April or May. I was without my computer for the better part of like 3 or 4 months and so was my boyfriend. He had finally gotten them to agree to fix what they didn't fix on his for free. Well, it took another long period of time (a few weeks or a month, where I had to let my boyfriend use my computer for his music stuff). They finally said that his computer was done and so was mine (we had to send back mine too).He or I had spoke to someone about his computer not running well and they offered to upgrade it and put another driver on it or something. Anyway, at first they said it wouldn't cost, but then they told James (and they agreed on) $100 (although he felt because of all the bs and time and money that it should really be free). So, I went to pick ours up and I expected it to only be no more than $100, but they said it was going to be another $232. He did not have $232 left on his card, he only had maybe $150 because he was between paydays. To make a very long convoluted story short, he has never picked up his computer even though they called him multiple times because he feels like they gouged him and was not honest with him. Now months later, my computer is running super slow and I feel like it has a virus or needs to be looked at again. I have no idea what to do. When you use any company, please be careful. Check all of their ratings on Google, Bing, or any other site to see how they do business. It may help if you know what is wrong with your computer and about how much it would cost plus the hourly service rate so you aren't easily taken...
Read moreNOT A PLACE TO GET YOUR COMPUTER WORKED ON!!!! i took my computer in because the fan of my computer was hitting something. I was having no other issues with the computer what so ever. After diagnostics they said that it was my hard drive and it would be over 200 dollars to replace. I explained that I really believed it was the fan but they disagreed. Sooooo..... since they were the professionals and I am just an idiot( because that is how I was made to fee)l. I agreed for them to replace my hard drive. Now just fyi I had thousands of songs several programs that I have lost the installation code etc to on this computer. A week later i pick up my computer programs, songs some pictures were gone, Buuuuuuuuuut I had a new hard drive and I thought the noise was fixed. I took the computer home and not 10 minutes after powering up the computer the fan started making the noise again. I called them back the next day and was told that the computer never made that noise while they had it. My thoughts if it had not made the noise prior to why would I have taken it in and paid 200 dollars to lose thousands of songs, programs etc. Understand this was over a year ago so there may be different people there. As far as the computer, I ended up putting the computer in the desk and bought another.
Then today I dropped my samsung s7 phone on the floor and cracked the digitizer and screen. I thought.... ok.... I will just see what they will charge. $200 dollars to replace the 2. The parts can be bought for $35. My personal opinion is STAY AWAY...
Read moreThey claim they don't hire just anyone right out of high school but that's exactly what they do. It's why so many electronics and computers have been destroyed. It's why if you contact a manufacturer for a repair they do not send them out to you or recommend them and instead the tech comes from Abilene or you're told to go there despite them having "certified" techs here supposedly. It's fly by night and they'll never make it right claiming it'll cost more and more and the problem is somehow your fault or something else than what you know it is. You'll regret ever walking in and agreeing to all the ways they can weasel out of any responsibility for what they broke. A reputable company doesn't need all that. You don't break something and then try to charge for it. Simple. Their diagnosis fee is a joke. It's blatantly unprofessional and an excuse to squeeze more money out of people and then allow them to claim a bunch of false issues to charge you for too. When everyone is saying the same thing and even having other shops or the manufacturer come behind them too, it's no lie they're doing something wrong here. They're hiring unskilled employees because they don't want to pay someone that knows the job or has the skills, and they're getting what they pay for - bad service and work, which you are also unfortunately getting as a result. This is not teaching these people the trade by doing this to them and it's a real disservice to...
