We went to island creamery for the first time since the switch from Chatham creamery. The atmosphere was great. We really liked the new decorations and tables. The service was great, the girl who served us was super sweet and helpful. The service was quick. We got the banana pudding ice cream and cookie dough. Both were good. The sizes are large! We got smalls and they were more than enough, I’d say go with the kids size. We didn’t use the drive through but I think that’s a great feature for heading back home or to enjoy the lake. There is also some outside seating.

I love ice cream. And Chatham Creamery does not disappoint. The few times I’ve been here the ice cream has always been delicious. I especially enjoyed the Peanut Butter Explosion special they had. Also, I really love how they have the option to either use the drive thru, a walk up window outside, or you can walk inside to order. Then they have outside seating as well which is pleasant. A final bonus is they accept Apple Pay and a contactless payment method. This place is a win in my book. šŸ¦

A cute, quick stop for local slow churned ice cream. I got a two scoop peanut butter cup and s’mores. They were yummy šŸ˜‹. I love local ice cream where there are a variety of flavors.

There used to be a froyo business here last year (Abbeez); it is my opinion that the new concept works much better than the last. First, they serve classic, hard, delicious ice cream in like over 30 different flavors, from my favorite Cookies & Cream to the interestingly delicious Black Raspberry and the kid-catchers like Cotton Candy and Unicorn Delight. From seeing froyo places come and go after a short lifespan in E.Hampton (Abbeez) and Middletown (Cherry Berry) I think the self-serve concept's oversized and overpriced mix-and-match concoctions made by average joes and their offspring is nowhere near as satisfying as the well thought off and tested flavor selection offered at places like Mortensen's in Cromwell, Guida's in Middlefield and Chatham's here in East Hampton. Prices are very reasonable so a family of 5 can leave pleased, spoiled and satisfied for less than $20 (try doing that at Ben & Jerry's in Glastonbury -which I love, but ouch! $$$). Service is on spot, well in synch with the area's lake vibe. The renovation moved the cashier's counter to the West side of the building so now you can order both inside and out at the outdoors sitting area (something I like about Guida's). Parking is plentiful once you realize there's more behind the building (took me a bit to figure that one out). Family friendly, excellent product, generous portions, and reasonable price makes Chatham Creamery our new favorite ice cream spot in town. The only drawback, I'd say, is that there's only a single (unisex) restroom; not a...

I contacted Island Vibes prior to our first visit due to my son's FOOD ALLERGIES (peanut and egg). Julianne (manager) responded quickly and answered all of our questions. Also told me that we could have our son's ice cream scooped from a new container in the back to avoid any nut cross contamination.

We came on a busy day, Mother's Day, and the staff was wonderful. 3 people working- a young man took our order. He went in the back to get our son's ice cream. He got us a cone directly from the box and even went to get sprinkles that came directly from the container since they do have peanuts on the toppings bar. My parents, husband and 2 boys all had delicious ice cream. I especially appreciated the extra time to ensure safety and friendliness despite it being busy. We...

This was our first time here (we don’t live in town) and I will 100% be back! Not only was the ice cream absolutely delicious but the service was amazing. We went with a huge group and we can be a bit much sometimes. Our big group includes 3 kids under the age of 7. The girl working handled my family like a champ. She was so wonderful with my kids, so patient and kind. We felt completely comfortable with the outside window and both staff and customers wearing masks. Then we sat at the outside tables and enjoyed our time there. I was very impressed with everything. We didn’t use it (this time but will in the future) but they even have a drive...
