So I ordered a shrimp scampi over rice, and I figured that it was going to be a decent portion, but its wasnt. For $24 all your get is 6 med size shrimp and rice with seansoning. The cheapest food you can buy is rice, so how does it cost $24 for 6 shrimp and rice. I also ordered a ribeye sirloin steak with baked potato and they gave me steak tips, so we had to go back and return that. After returning they charged an extra $6 for the difference after i already paid $32 the first time they screwed up. Got home and the steak was not cooked right, and was super chewy. Definitely not an upclass place for what you pay, they wont last just like past 10 owners. So just a fair warning the food is not worth what they charged, i figured I would try it out seeing its under new owners again but I will not be going back, it was not worth the $80...
Read moreI threw my husband a surprise party at The Town Tavern last weekend with a great turnout. As someone who has never done this, having it at The Town Tavern was the best idea I could have come up with. All details can be found on their website and any additional details I was able to work out with Niki, the General Manager on the phone.
The food was amazing with the kitchen accommodating an all gluten free menu. The setup was perfect for the crowd. All other details like drink tickets, dessert plating and the decorations at the restaurant we're seamlessly arranged. It was a successful event and my husband was properly surprised.
Thank you to the staff and kudos to Cheryl, the chef...

The baked potato looked like it was overdone so I was a little skeptical at first but when I mashed it up it kind of melted all together. All in all a...
