I just moved to the area and was thrilled to see how close this S$S was. Things are very chaotic and I have had to make a few stops in to get what I need. I needed help finding an item and after asking two workers, I won’t ever ask for help again. I myself am also an essential worker and fully comprehend the stress of having to work during a pandemic and dealing with individuals in a retail setting. We are all tired and underpaid but it isn’t a reason to be cold to customers. I was very clearly bothering the second person I asked and only discovered the item I was looking for wasn’t in stock after another worker saw me pacing the aisles. And I don’t understand why I was literally hovered over as if I was about to steal something at self checkout. It created a very uncomfortable shopping experience.

UPDATE. Changing to one star for the “gentleman” who was stocking around 9:30 at night that likes to gawk at people with his mask dangling around his chin. I am starting to think there is literally no management working here. I have been a Stop and Shop customer for years and have never seen employees look so unhappy, and give so few f*s. The store does not have the Stop and Shop flow, things have rung up at different prices than marked. NEW...

I have been coming to that store for 17 years to this particular store. Well I am not going their anymore . Because Their employees Do Not know how to count money . Make sure you count your money before you leave the register . You count your change right away . Because This employee short changed me 20.00 and I had to wait 20 min. For the lady to go on a break which she had had a really long line . And had to wait for the manager Shannon to come and count the drawer she was also taking her time . Because they did not trust me made me feel very uncomfortable . I do not need to steal my own money . And Shannon told me that I am suppose to call . I mean why do I cave to call for my own money . She was mad too . This was a hell of an experience for me . No one cares for customer satisfaction anymore . Or care for the customers Period ! Instead they have these grumpy horrible employees. I felt humiliated. I do not need to steal .I also dont think I had to wait that long for my own money. I have spend 1000's of dollars to this store through...
