I love this dog park because it is relatively close to home. There is one section for smaller dogs another section for large larger dogs and you also have a patio with seating so you’re able to take a seat and watch your dog as they play and have fun.
As a few of the other comments or reviews I will say some of the downsides are the grass is very patchy so my dog always comes back with very muddy paws and has to have a good thorough wash afterwards.

Read moreI'm pretty happy with this dog park. Usually the small dogs section isn't as good as the big dogs side, but this one is better! They have a nice covered picnic table and some hoops & whatnot to train your dog. I'm also happy that they have a dog drinking fountain (that's outside of the play area). People generally pick up after their dogs so I don't have to always be worrying about stepping in poo. My only complaint is that they don't mow the grass as often as they should in the summer....

I'm so glad that the city of East Point put in a dog park so close to home. The problem is that it's not being maintained properly just a year later. The latches to the gates are broken and as a result the space isn't secure for a dog to run off-leash as intended.
