The best playground in SW metro I think! Several structures for kids of all ages/abilities from 0 to 12 and part of it is wheelchair accessible too! The splash pad is basic but nice when it is hot. I recommend bringing sand toys because my son has always LOVED their sand play area with a couple of diggers and a sand and water table with a water fountain, funnels, and chutes to give you "glue" to make your sand creations stick. The parking lot is right by the playground and there is ample seating including a small covered area with a picnic tables so a great option for caregiver's who don't have physical mobility to access some other parks. There is a small "deck" that overlooks the lake but nit something you could fish off of. Perfect bike riding there because it hooks up with the regional trail for older kids with endurance, but also flat and paved around all of the fields there too for younger riders starting out. Only restrooms are portable and not inside the play area. There is a concession stand with restrooms for a couple of the fields if you're there for base or softball. Several soccer fields and nice tennis...
Read moreReally liked this park. I took my grandsons (2 and 4) and they had a great time. The splash pad was a huge hit. The 2 year old loved the sandbox and the water play area. The toddler jungle gym held his attention for an hour. The 4 year old liked the toddler gym but he loved the older kid gym. A couple of item to be aware of. There is no shade in the play areas so plan accordingly. There is a small picnic shelter by the gyms. The big kid tower is several stories high. They can't fall off, but if a kid got hurt, an old grandpa like me would not be able to get to the upper floors to help. Only...

There's a sand playarea with a water spout so be prepared! Theres a playground for big kids as well as plenty of swings so no waiting for a turn. The splash pad isn't HUGE but has a lot to offer. No complaints from this...
