Read moreReceived my 1st dose of covid vaccine today, it took 60 mins start to finish. They check your appointment information at the door, and you can get in starting 30 minutes before your appointment. LOTS of people and long lines, it is a bit dystopian and unnerving at first, but it was always flowing and didn't feel frustrating at all. I have to say I was very impressed by how well organized it was and how smooth everything was running. There are 3 check-points. Let's assume you start with 2 cards (ID and insurance). First check-point reads in your ID and gives you a barcode card (now you have 3 cards) - not really sure what this step is intended to do, probably just checking up on your appointment. Next check-point you sit down and answer a bunch of questions and they scan your insurance card (and/or ID), you get your vaccine card at this point (now you're holding 4 cards) , a sticker with your information is printed and put on your vaccine card. 3rd check point is the vaccination. You answer another set of questions regarding your health and get the vaccine and your vaccine card gets signed. Then you head out to 15-min observation area and sit down. They want to keep you for 15 minutes in case you have any allergic reactions. At this area there are people walking around asking if you scheduled your second appointment yet - you get a text (and email) with a link and can do it through your smartphone, but if you need help these people can help you with it. So they make sure you have your second appointment scheduled before you leave. When your 15 mins is up and you're all good, you leave and drop off your barcode card (down to 3 cards) at the exit. Next time you're expected to come back with your vaccine card and ID. Good luck...
Read moreIt's a humongous place I went to The brick City tour there which was a very popular event this past weekend and like I said it is immense in size but who knew that it even exists in a location that exists and I think anyone who has an event there or host an event there needs to be very very smart and making sure that they get allowance to please some kind of like arrows or notification or direction to how to get there because you can get lost in this big complex of warehouses just trying to find this place I think that was the only frustrating part about it and then trying to get out of it considering I was on foot looking for transportation and there's nothing that's going to put you out there so if you don't have a car oh you don't have a bike you better have some good shoes or Uber cuz just trying to get out of the complex alone was like trying to get out of Oz humongous I felt like I was leaving Miami-Dade jail. And I guess I would have to say that there's not much to choose from based on things to eat or concessionary so whatever event is going on inside of this blank space the place itself has vending machines but man they try to get you at like four dollars for a bottle of water like 3 hours for chips and s* they're tripping but I guess I got to do something to keep all those lights on and unless you're throwing it really humongous event it's a lot of space to sell so you better really need it you better really have some kind of map drawn out on how to get there cuz you'll never find it however I had a great time it was clean and I'm sure I'll be...
