NJ Mineral, Fossil, Gem & Jewelry Show — Local services in Edison

Oh man, I’ve been meaning to get to this event for years after seeing the billboards on the highway. I’m so insanely happy that I finally went today. It was an actual wonderland. Got the deals of my entire life on gorgeous specimens. I check out every gem/mineral/fossil shop I can find anywhere I go. Absolutely nothing beats the prices here. Some vendors here are more normally priced, but then bam, you’ll find something on a mega sale on the table that you can’t even believe the price on. I got a rose quartz that was nearly grapefruit sized for 8 dollars. If you’ve been thinking about coming here, definitely do it. There were also many more vendors than I expected to see based on other reviews. I was there from 4:30 -8pm and even while rushing a bit being at each booth definitely didn’t see all the vendors. The show wasn't as big as in past years. Looked through the whole thing within a few hours. Everything is so much more expensive as well. As a previous reviewer stated, having to buy a 3 day ticket when you can walk through the whole show in less than 3 hours is ridiculous. It's not worth it. The owners response was laughable. The reason they sell three day tickets is so that people can come back to pick up things that they have already purchased?? Really??? So if I buy something from a dealer and he doesn't have it ready that day I wouldn't be allowed to come back to pick it up the next day? Everyone has to buy a 3 day ticket for the few that run into that situation? What kind of a half baked operation...

You can walk through this show in 4 hours or so and see everything that there is to see. It's not Tucson. The cheapest ticket that you can buy is $15 for a 3 day reentry pass. Why would I want to come back here for 2 more days after seeing the whole show in 4 hours? The show starts on a Wednesday. I am going today, Thursday. Why should I be charged for a 3 day reentry pass when in reality I can only use that pass for 2 days,...
