Yost Park — Attraction in Edmonds

Beautiful wooded area with a variety of trails, some gravel and some boardwalk, some mostly flat and others inclined. But unfortunately, all seem completely inaccessible to anyone using a wheelchair/rollator. No handicapped parking in the small lot (via street access), but there are a few spaces accessible via the maintenence road (off the main parking lot)--available for handicapped use only. This is also the best way to access the swimming pool if you're handicapped; the main entrance is down a few steps and on a hill. The park has lots of shade, but it's also vellry buggy (the mosquitos are out today). I wish I could report more but it's very hard to get...

I love the fun to explore steep magical wooded trails, small creek trickling, wow, a small hidden gem, peace and calm, lovely pool for lap swim and play!! The CRAZY EXCEPTION is BLARING MUSIC that erupts and echoes from the pool. Staring at 7 AM. What!? I like music but it’s so out of place here. Sometimes on and sometimes off. The best trail combo would probably be sword fern to shell creek. Shell creek offers the most fun hike with a small creeks, lots of small bridges and wooden walkways.
