Frances Anderson Center šŸ“ 700 Main St, Edmonds, WA 98020 Indoor Play Space šŸ•’ Hours: Mon–Fri: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Sat: 10 AM – 1 PM šŸ’² $3 per child (cash or card) šŸš— Parking: small lot behind + street parking available The rainy season is officially here šŸŒ§ļø and we’re always on the lookout for fun spots to get our wiggles out! We recently checked out the new indoor play space at Frances Anderson Center and it was such a fun little find. We’re big fans of community center open play spaces, and this one was perfect for my little one to explore. It’s not a huge space, but it’s clean, bright, and full of new toys to discover. After playing inside, we popped over to the playground right out front (and lucked out with a dry day šŸ™Œ). To top it off, the Edmonds Library is right next door, so of course we stopped in before heading home. Such a fun, easy afternoon in Edmonds — indoor play + outdoor fun + story time = win! šŸ’• #EdmondsWA #IndoorPlay #RainyDayFun #PNWKids #FamilyFun

Just to be clear with this review of the Francis Anderson Center, I did not enter the building or visit under normal circumstances, but instead, the wife and I were traveling back to Portland through Edmonds, headed to the Seattle to catch the Kingston ferry and we drove by this beautiful education center, and I'm not using the word school cuz I don't think that's what it was, but there was a small festive gathering of pop-up canopies with merchants and artists displaying their wares and a completely wonderful atmosphere of togetherness and family and just huge clouds of happiness. That's the only way I could explain it. We stopped dead in our tracks parked our car walked across the street into this beautifully organized and arranged neighborhood fare which we misdiagnosed as a farmers market. This was a gathering for this center and was a fundraiser with various merchants and artists selling their creative wares. The feeling all around was of wonderment and happiness. Spoke to a few people, and really enjoyed the 45 minutes...

A local hub of amazing resources for people of all interests! Well maintained field with a brand new playground are some of the most visited amenities along with a rooftop promenade and large amphitheater. With constant events over the summer (barring no COVID-19 restrictions) there is an abundance of life and culture that engulfs the campus. I also recommend visiting the Library next door as it is a great space of wholesome and vibrant learning apparatuses. The library also includes weekly events such as book readings for children!

To everyone who reads this message, go out and support your local...

We go here for volleyball on Thursdays. Mixed crowd. Just please remember to know positioning as it is a B level gym. There's nothing worse then getting hurt cause a beginner player goes under the net or doesn't know what they are doing. Call ahead to make sure they haven't booked anything in advance. We showed up one day and they had pickleball. We called the day before and we're assured there would be volleyball. It's rude and Inconsiderate cause we had people from the south end...
