Helpful NPS staff & small store with unique Mexico-U.S. friendly relations logo designs. Hidden gem among NPS sites. Impressive Benito Juarez statue commemorating his time in exile near the site.

Have visited more than once to take first time visitors to El Paso to learn more about the interesting history of the area. The first time I visited, one of the Park Rangers walked with us through the exhibit and provided lots of additional information and fun facts not included in the exhibit.

Although the center was closed on a Sunday, we stopped by on our way through town to see the Juarez statue and the memorial. The grounds are lovely, and we enjoyed walking the paths on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Very peaceful, serene place. Lots of history and information about the history of the area. The best part is the park rangers gave my 5-year-old a book and short tasks to complete and she earned a Junior Ranger badge, she was so proud of it. Shout out to ranger Izzy Sanchez, it really made her day. Definitely recommend this...
