Whataburger — Restaurant in El Paso

I stopped in Wednesday 01/29/2025 around 0630. Going through the drive-thru the young man could not understand me, and I'm not really sure why, I speak pretty clearly. I repeated myself probably at least four times and I thought he understood. When I got to the drive-thru window I paid him cash and did not give me my change right away. He walked away I probably waited another 10 minutes in the drive-thru for them to make two chorizo egg and cheese taquitos. In high school I worked for Whataburger so I know how fast it is to make those it doesn't take that long not to mention they're literally was nobody there besides maybe one other patron. Finally a young lady comes to the window with my food and a friendly nice smile. At this point I honestly forgot about my change. When I got home I started to wonder if this is something that the young man does and pockets the money. It wasn't a lot of money maybe a dollar but still if you do that enough especially when people are going there cuz they're open 24 hours and they've been drinking I can see how one can make some money. My order was kind of accurate.. I wanted two taquitos and one jalapeno. I got two taquitos one had plenty of chorizo The other had barely any and two jalapenos. It may have been an honest mistake. The burgers are amazing as if crafted by The hamburger genius him or her self, love that it is opened the twenty-four hours so when I get out late from the club I still have an opened spot to go to eat before heading home, and it's great for those early bird working hours the pancake platter with bacon and hash browns are the best with a little orange juice or coffee whatever you prefer I mean this restaurant lives up to its name it's literally What A Burger, my favorite would definitely be the honey barbecue chicken strips ohhhhh my god!! Love just how the cheese melts down into the chicken strips and the chicken strips always so soft and warm. My wife's favorite I would probably say it's the green chili double and she always changes her fries to onion rings, if you ever go to a Whataburger I do suggest that you try the onion rings with the spicy ketchup. The shakes are also really really good, and me a person that loves iced coffee I really do fall on love with the coffee shake, it's cold and sweat and it just has all that shake texture with an authentic coffee flavor. So, I went in and ordered a salad, fries and a cup of coffee. The girl who took my order asked me if I wanted chicken and I said no.

She gave me my change in nickels and I said it was okay because I am a nice person. They then left the fries out of my order. The girl who had taken my order said, " I did not charge you for the fries, do you want me to charge you for them?" I said yes, paid for the fries, and waited patiently for my them. I did not complain, because I am a nice person.

I then got home to discover there was a dead chicken on my salad. I have been a vegetarian for 45 years. I don't eat chicken. I had to walk 4 blocks back. They corrected the order and tried to compensate me with free pie. I cannot eat fast food pies as they are not vegetarian. I am a nice person, put I have limits. I am a vegetarian for ethical reasons and when you put meat in my food, it is very upsetting because I cannot eat it and it just wastes it. I am begging you to explain to your employees what a...
