The overlook area is beautiful! Daytime isn't packed but at night it can get crazy busy- especially on a weekend! Halfway up and down from this spot on both sides cars will be lined up and it becomes a 1 and a half lane road basically. We've watched hit and runs and near misses!! But the view at night-- chef's kiss!

Isn't a city beautiful in the evening with all its lights? I enjoy looking over El Paso and Juarez every time we go to the scenic drive! It is beautiful! There are so many light! Lights as far as you can see! You can even see the USA-Mexico border and the I-10 and downtown El Paso! All from one spot!

This park and the connected Scenic Drive were created in 1920 as cars were becoming more common to give the people of El Paso a view of the city and Juarez just beyond the Rio Grande. Lots of signs point out the landmarks and history of the area. This is a must stop.

Great place to veiw the lights and sunsets. It was overcast so, no night sky like I was hoping. But a nice stop along my trek. Owe and the nav and I were arguing the entire way. At some point she just shut off. Overshot the turn by a mile or so and she seemed drunk afterwords trying to get the route...but just to late. Anyway, make sure to have the route plugged in before heading east into...
